Case Study - Compton Care:

We recently supported Compton Care, a local hospice in Wolverhampton, to use Virtual Reality headsets to improve patient wellbeing and ease pain. We also helped them to record an immersive 360° tour of their inpatient unit. This has had a transformational impact when watched by their prospective patients, easing the fear and hesitation experienced by many before using their services.

Thanks to Fab Lab’s help, Compton Care were nominated for the “Best Use of Workplace Technology” in the Nursing Times Workforce Awards in 2022.
